Computer Recycling

The three principles of environmental responsibility are reduce, reuse and recycle. In keeping with those concepts, 5 Rivers Computer Repair has for the last few years been reducing the amount of e-waste going to our landfills, reusing computer technology by providing the public with access through our retail store, and recycling end-of-life materials by responsibly distributing them to processors. There is no fee for recycling your old electronic equipment, our goal is to keep these items out of the landfills.

How We Recycle

5 Rivers Computer Repair disassembles end-of-life computers into component parts that can be readily recycled. Circuit boards for precious metals, cases and other miscellaneous for mixed metal and the salvaging of many parts and peripherals for reuse and resale. CRT's (monitors and televisions) are either refurbished or recycled through a facility the recycles the lead in the monitors at a glass to glass facility or smelter.
