Animal Farm Pet Hospital
Animal Farm was opened in 1984 by Dr. Noah Stroe in downtown San Francisco. In 1988 it moved to it's present location. Dr. Stroe opened Animal Farm in order to offer his clients the most complete care for their animals. To do this, Animal Farm uses the most up to date treatments available, while working closely with you to decide what is best for your pet. The goal of Animal Farm is to offer compassionate and nurturing care. Animal Farm concentrates on the whole animal, not just the medical aspect. Nutrition, behavior, and home life are focused on at each visit.
Why the name Animal Farm? The reason Dr. Stroe chose the name Animal Farm tells a lot about his practice. He took the name from George Orwell's classic animal fable, Animal Farm. From a positive interpretation, it suggests the utopian possibility of a democracy, even in the animal world. The real reason why Dr. Stroe chose the name though, was because of how he defines the word farm. To him, farm denotes a peaceful place where things grow, gently encouraged and tended to by the farmer. Animal Farm is a pet hospital where every animal is gently encouraged to grow and blossom to their full potential.
