Arvizu is also a former Chairman of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and credited with pioneering the formation of the Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies. Arvizu has also been named one of the ‘100 Most Influential Hispanics' by Hispanic Business Magazine.
In 2000, Arvizu was named Small Business Person of the Year by the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce. In 2001, the Grand Canyon Minority Supplier Development Council named Arvizu the ‘Arizona Supplier of the Year and in 2002, Arvizu was named ‘Entrepreneur of the Year' by the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Most recently, Arvizu was named to the Business Journals ‘Silver Anniversary Honor Roll' honoring him for his service to the Valley over the last 25 years.

Charitable Contriutions
If there is something Arvizu delivers with 100% of their heart it is strengthening the community, especially as it pertains to the development and growth of Hispanic-owned businesses. Arvizu sponsors a number of charitable events annually and aids in fundraising efforts to many community-based organizations throughout the year. This commitment includes the formation of Arvizu Charities and the Arvizu Scholarship Fund benefiting deserving Hispanic youth.
