My name is Adam Wagner and I am the owner of AW HOME IMPROVEMENT. I have been doing construction work for several years and about 1 ½ years ago I decided to start up my own company.

I started off by framing residential homes in the Iowa City area. That involved a lot of framing, installing new construction windows, building decks, and screen in porches.

From there I got more involved with the finishing work. Siding, roofing, soffit, fascia, and some gutters. This also included finishing the inside as well, installing ceramic tile, hanging trim, and painting trim.

I am also a handyman for a couple home owners in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City. These types of projects range from fixing windows, doors, replacing toilets, and just about anything that would go wrong that the home owners/landlords don't want to deal with.

My fiancée, Kayla, is my secretary for the company. I try to keep the business family orientated. She is an accountant at Scheels so she has a lot of experience with running the books.
