Dr. Donald R. Knepper's first veterinary practice, Weaver Animal Hospital, was established in 1942 by Dr. Clark Weaver. Dr. Knepper purchased the practice when Dr. Weaver retired. Since then, Dr. Knepper has acquired Bancroft Animal Hospital and East Toledo Animal Clinic.
The staff at Dr Donald R. Knepper's practices makes every effort to treat patients on an outpatient basis. However, extended hospital care is offered when the need arises. "We work many hours because we want to be available seven days a week so your pet can be treated the day it becomes ill," says Dr. Knepper.

We try and make sure you know exactly what is going to happen with your pet. Our practices use only state of the art equipment to make sure your pet gets only the best treatment. We have been in our business since 1942.
Our practices make every effort to provide thorough and cost-effective treatments for your pets. There are canine and feline specialists available to us for referral when necessary. In addition, we are very concerned about zoonotic diseases that can be transferred to humans. Therefore, we make sure that all pets are free of intestinal parasites.
At our hospitals, pets receive thorough examinations to check for hidden diseases or problems. Any animal seven years and older needs internal medical testing to make sure there are no abnormalities. The hospitals have installed complete computer labs that can give immediate test results for serious internal medical problems.
Pet owners also are advised on diet and care of older animals. Frequently, Dr. Donald R. Knepper will change an animal's diet to compensate for any problems found.
Reasonable boarding is offered for clients. Our staff is very caring and loves to "spoil" your pet with kindness.
