Begin Again Institute

Begin Again Institute is a highly specialized program for sex addiction and intimacy disorders for men. Dr. Michael Barta and his team of highly specialized therapists lead two-week intensives where sex addiction is treated through a neurobiological lens and trauma-focused therapeutic modalities. Additionally, the affected partners are invited into the process through a unique Partner Support Program, offering both parties the opportunity to receive real healing and freedom from the devastation and trauma of betrayal and addiction. Begin Again Institute offer several programs to aid in overcoming sexual and pornography addiction. For instance, a 14-day men's intensive outpatient program as well as partners' and couples' intensive programs. All of these involve individual and group therapy. Since 2008, the Begin Again Institute has specialized in helping men heal both their sexually addictive behaviors and rebuild relationships with damaged wives and partners. Dr. Michael Barta founded the Begin Again Institute to specialize in intensive treatment for sex and pornography addiction. Our partner-sensitive treatment program utilizes the TINSA® (Trauma-Induced Sexual Addiction) model developed since 2008 by Dr. Barta, coupled with the TASK Approach developed by Dr. Patrick Carnes.
