Bonney Bright Sand Company supports many local activities in Virginia Beach, sponsoring several racecars, a couple of local youth baseball teams and the 4-H Club. They contribute to the Virginia Beach Fire Department's Benevolent Fund and also provide free sand for several area playgrounds.
