We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray and ultrasound capabilities, and a closely supervised hospitalization area. The indoor boarding kennels have outdoor playgrounds. We also have a separate cat condo suite for our feline friends and offer "daycare" for all our 4-legged friends.
Dr. David Case
Dr. Case received his DVM from the University of Tennesee in 1981. He returned to his hometown (Lynchburg) after 3 years of practice in Florida. He opened Boonsboro Animal Hospital in 1984. He enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and has had the pleasure of serving many patients and their owners over the years. He is married (Meg) with three children (Thomas, Ashley, and Sara), two dogs, Tux and Lizzy, Sammy the cat and Jake (his horse). His faithful companion, Tux, can often be seen riding "shotgun" as he accompanies Dr. Case on his daily errands. Lizzy is our newly adopted humane society "special" and has added a lot of energy around the Case household. Dr. Case is past-president of the Piedmont Veterinary Medical Association and also a member of AAHA and the AVMA.
