We offer recycled carpet and carpet that can be recycled. Yes, there's a difference! We recycle our carpet pads and use recycled pads whenever possible. Certain carpet fibers are considered more "green" than others. For example, wool is a renewable fiber. It helps in regulating moisture in your home and is virtually without allergic reaction issues. Polypropylene and olefin are made from recycled materials, like plastic water bottles, and are very green products. At the present time, there's no way to recycle polypropylene after it's been used as carpet. Certain nylon fibers are being recycled with great results, such as the Anso Nylon Yarn.
