We can see this trend in some of the leading outdoor living magazines. There are only a handful of wood-fired pizza oven companies in the US. Most of these wood-burning pizza oven companies started importing their products from different countries as opposed to manufacture them.

Most of these wood fired ovens are comprised of lightweight materials for easy import. These lightweight wood fired ovens are not superior in quality or construction. They simply cost less to ship overseas.
