Carol Fralin has been the owner of Carol Fralin Interiors, Inc. since 1989. Prior to that, Carol was co-owner of Lawren's Design (also in Roanoke, Virginia). Her design work has primarily taken place in Virginia and North Carolina. Her special areas of expertise are American 18th Century furniture, Historic Renovation, Healthcare, Funeral Homes, high-end and new Residential Construction, and Condominium Development. Carol also co-hosts Designing Lifestyles on local cable television.

"Fun" interests include opera (board member of Opera Roanoke), Bible study (and the Bible's influences on British and American literature), tournament Bridge, and SEVEN grandchildren in her hometown! For relaxation, she enjoys playing piano, reading, politics, and art (she's painted contemporary portraits of her family and even "Puppy," a ten-year-old Yorkie).

Carol is a cum laude graduate of Hollins College (now University) and also studied at The Wintertur Museum.
