I spent four years in the U.S. Army as a mechanic. After my service ended, I worked as an auto mechanic from 1991 to 2008.
In 2008, I had the opportunity to transition into a different field, working as a mechanic for truck-mounted carpet cleaning machines from 2008 to 2012.
In 2011, I began moonlighting with a carpet cleaner and learned carpet repair from him. I really enjoyed being able to work in air conditioning, repairing carpets-it was much better than working on hot concrete in a garage.
By 2012, I decided to pursue carpet repair full-time and haven't looked back. I love that I still get to help people who have problems and need solutions. I feel blessed to have met so many wonderful people here in the Tulsa area and to have made many friends along the way.
