Dr. Bohnke decided to be a veterinarian when she was 9 years old. She pursued her dream through high school internships and college employment, through veterinary school and back home to Tucson. Dr. Bohnke graduated from Colorado State University in 1991. She has been practicing in Arizona ever since. Her extensive experience in Arizona makes her very aware of the health challenges faced by our Arizona pets such as Valley Fever, Rattlesnake Bite, and Tick Fever. Dr. Bohnke stays abreast of veterinary technology and medicine through journals, on-line bulletin boards and over 35 hours of continuing education lectures annually.
Cimarron Animal Hospital is located on Tucson's Eastside. We are in a two-story gold building located one block North of Broadway on Harrison Rd. Our building has an Elevator on the Southwest corner for the convenience of our clients and their pets who prefer not to use stairs. We also offer valet assistance in helping our clients and pets into the building upon request. We have parking in front of and behind our building and a cozy, shaded garden for relaxation or a "necessary stroll".
