Our mission is to provide outstanding service to pets and their owners in a caring and compassionate manner. We strive to build a lasting relationship with all of our clients and their pets. Our veterinarians and staff will educate you so that you can make the best choices about your pets' health and well being. We provide our clients with an extensive list of health care services to include grooming and dental care. Companion Animal Hospital & Clinic is a full service facility for dogs and cats. We also provide boarding service while you are on vacation!

Companion Animal Hospital and Clinic offers a full range of services including...

Preventative Medicine

Annual Wellness Packages that include an extensive examination, vaccinations, fecal examination, heartworm test, and optional wellness bloodwork.

Semi-Annual packages for our canine patients include an exam with our veterinarian or one of our registered veterinary technicians, a fecal examination, and a booster of the Bordetella vaccination.

Senior Wellness Medicine & Wellness Exams

Semi-Annual senior wellness exams allow us to stay up to date with health issues that may arise as your pet ages. During these exams your pet will receive a dental disease evaluation and an osteoarthritis evaluation.

Companion Animal Hospital also recommends performing annual senior wellness bloodwork on all patients over seven years of age. This bloodwork allows us to screen for underlying health concerns that may develop as your pet ages. Thus, allowing early diagnosis and treatment of conditions such as diabetes, kidney disease, liver disease, and thyroid disorders.

General Surgery

All patients are required to have bloodwork performed prior to anesthesia. This allows us to make sure there are no underlying conditions that would change or prevent us from doing anesthesia. In addition to pre-anesthetic blood testing, Companion Animal Hospital uses low-risk anesthesia and monitors your pet's vital signs electronically and manually while he or she is under anesthesia.

Low Risk Anesthesia with Electronic Monitoring & Full Diagnostic Services on site

Companion Animal Hospital is equipped with in-house laboratory testing equipment. This allows our staff to complete most of the diagnostic tests we perform the same day your pet visits our hospital. Not only does this allow us to give prompt results to owners, but also enables us to develop individual treatment plans for patients in a very time efficient manner.

Microchipping

In the unfortunate event that you and your pet are separated, Companion Animal Hospital utilizes the ResQ Pet Identification System to assist in reuniting lost pets with their owners.
