Deltona Animal Medical Center
Deltona Animal Medical Center was established in 1976 as the first veterinary hospital in Deltona, Florida. Dr. Jeffrey Miller has been its director since 1979. A partnership was formed in 1983 with Dr. Thomas Fansher. In 2012 Dr. Laura Stevenson and Dr. Amanda Millikan joined the practice.
In 1995, a separate boarding facility, the Deltona Pet Lodge, was built (currently known as Pine Ridge Pet Hospital) and now houses pet boarding as well as a full service veterinary hospital.
The facilities, equipment and practice are inspected at least every two years. The directors or member hospitals are a part of an organized group for the adoption of highest standards possible for a veterinary facility. These standards include equipment, practice methods, facilities, and management. In July of 1984 we received an additional honor by being selected the Merit Design Hospital Winner by Veterinary Economics Magazine, a national award of which we are very proud.

Jeffery W. Miller, DVM
Dr. Miller founded Deltona Animal Medical Center in 1979. Originally from Canton, Ohio, Dr. Miller attended the University of Florida on a basketball scholarship. He went on to graduate from The Ohio State University Veterinary School in 1975 after which he practiced in Palatka, Florida and Mesa, Arizona.
Thomas G. Fansher, DVM
Dr. Fansher has been the co-owner of Deltona Animal Medical Center since 1983. He graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1981.
