For years, Dr. Chris Chamberlin was the talk of Toledo, Ohio. His patients and staff loved him. His dental lab considered him their benchmark for quality dentistry. Even other dentists went to him when they needed work done in their own mouths!
Despite his successful practice in Ohio, his wife's native Boulder and our beautiful Colorado mountains beckoned. He packed up his family, sold his practice, and is now using his experience and knowledge to continue practicing high quality, service oriented dentistry right here in Boulder.

Dr. Chamberlin met his wife, Janet (a Boulder, Colorado native), in 1976 while doing a post-dental school advanced training at Denver General Hospital - now Denver Health Hospital. When they married in 1981, Janet moved to Chris' hometown of Toledo, Ohio, where Dr. Chamberlin had established his dental practice in 1977. Chris also took the dental boards and received a Colorado Dental License in 1981, so that he could eventually return Janet to her beloved home town.
Janet and Chris raised two sons in Perrysburg, Ohio (a suburb of Toledo), and when the youngest son graduated from high school in June 2006, Dr. Chamberlin sold his Ohio practice and moved his family back to Boulder to fulfill his 25 year promise to Janet. He purchased the practice of a retiring dentist in January 2007, and began the process of building it into the practice of exceptional quality and service that it is today.

Dr. Chris Chamberlin is a native of Toledo, Ohio. He graduated with a Biology degree from the University of Toledo in 1973, and received his doctorate in dental surgery with honors - from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1976. Chris spent the year following his graduation from Ohio State doing a general dentistry residency at Denver General Hospital (now Denver Health). His dental residency was optional, however it was invaluable as it gave him advanced training and techniques in general dentistry. He met his wife, Janet (a native of Boulder) while living in Denver.
Dr. Chamberlin returned to his home town upon completing his residency program, and established a dental practice in Maumee, Ohio, a suburb of Toledo, Ohio. Before his private practice became too busy, he was on staff teaching part-time at the Medical College of Ohio (MCO). He taught dental students who were in the General Dentistry Residency Program at the program at MCO.
Chris and Janet were married in 1981 and Janet moved to Ohio -grudgingly. She did, however, insist that Chris get a license to practice dentistry in Colorado before she would move.
Chris' practice in Ohio flourished and he became well known for providing high quality general and cosmetic dentistry. His patients included many dentists and dental professionals in his local dental community.
They raised their two sons in Ohio. In June of2006, Chris sold his Ohio practice and moved to Boulder to fulfill his life long commitment to Janet to move her back to her hometown.
In Colorado, Dr. Chamberlin purchased a small existing dental practice in Boulder in December 2006. He retained the same location where the previous practice was located, but upgraded the facility to meet his high standards for equipment, supplies and patient comfort.
Dr. Chamberlin is a member of the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Society, the Boulder-Broomfield Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He has studied with many of the most renowned dental educators in the country. Chris has logged more than 1,000 hours of continuing education during his 30 years of dental practice, and is committed to staying on top of the most current techniques and technology in dentistry for his practice.
An avid outdoorsman, Chris spends his free time fly fishing, hiking, skiing, biking, and dabbling in photography. His son Neil, after receiving his degree from The Ohio State University, is now residing in Jackson, Wyoming assistant teaching and is a fly fish guide in the summer. His younger son, Owen, received a degree in geography from the University of Colorado in Boulder and is currently the office manager for Dr. Chamberlin's practice.
