Dr. Lee went to dental school at the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences and graduated in 1990 at the top of her class, receiving numerous scholarships while in dental school. These include two Hinman, an American Association of Women Dentists, and two Cecily Q. Tipton scholarships. She was honored to be a member of the Dean's Honorary Odontological Society and the President of Omicon Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
More recently, Dr. Lee received the Fellowship Award from the Tennessee Dental Association, its second highest honor. She also has been privileged to be included as the Top Dentist in Memphis Magazine for the last five years.
Dr. Lee has studied extensively at The Dawson Academy in St. Petersburg, FL where she has learned the intricate details of treating occlusal disease and Smile Design.
Dr. Lee is now a member of the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association, and the Memphis Dental Society where she is presently serving as Secretary. She is also a member of the American Association of Women Dentists.
Dr Lee has been on 5 mission trips to Kenya Africa where she helps build churches and performs tooth extractions on the tribes people in very remote areas.
