Express is involved in many community outreach programs. The managing partner Lisa Straughan is in Kelso Rotary serving 2 board positions. She is the chair for Human Services as well as President of her club for the 2015-2016 rotary year. Express employees get involved with United Day of Caring which is a annual day of giving that is coordinated by the United Way in the community. Brand It Blue Day which is Express Employment Professionals international day of volunteering. The staff for a few years worked with Altrusa and local Walmarts to coordinate a food drive for the Back Pack Buddy Program a program that sends food home from school for the weekend for children that might otherwise not have steady meals. The staff is determining what they want to focus on in 2016 for Brand it Blue. Express does annual Leadership training in the community bringing in our very own Stacy Stack the VP of Training for Express. Stacy has become somewhat of a celebrity in our area. We get a lot of phone calls asking when Stacy will be returning. The staff has spent numerous hours meeting with job seekers at the local high schools and college as well as CAP helping with job ready training, interview skills and resume building skills.
