Franey’s Design Center

Roger Franey has always dreamed big. When he opened his flooring business in 1955, he didn't want it to merely succeed - he wanted it to be the best shop of its kind, with a widespread reputation for quality and service. While his dreams were big, his business was small: just five employees working from a 2,000 square foot showroom and warehouse.

Today, the reality of Franey's Design Center far exceeds Roger's greatest dream. Franey's is now home to 42 skilled employees working from a 38,000 square foot showroom and warehouse. More importantly, Franey's is renowned as the South Valley's #1 locally-owned business for floor covering, fine furniture, window and wall treatments, custom design and accessories.

Deeply satisfied to see his dream coming to life, Roger retired and turned the business over to his sons, David and Mark. Sharing their father's passion for quality and service, David and Mark play an integral role in the continued success of the family business.

While much has changed since Franey's opened in 1955, customer expectations have not. Franey's Design Center remains committed to providing superior products and outstanding service, all coming together to create exceptional value for our customers.

Roger's dream has been realized - even surpassed - through the years, but his original vision is still the driving force of our business: to maintain our reputation for excellence as we serve the residential and commercial needs of clients throughout Central California.
