Glaser’s Collision Centers

Gene and Susan Glaser started Glaser's Automotive in 1986 as a full-service automotive repair shop. Gene Glaser came from a background of construction workers and Susan had a background in computers but they learned how to run the business. The original shop, a 900 sq. ft. building in Buechel, did full mechanical work, body, paint, interior repairs, and high-performance upgrades. After several years, the Glaser's decided to narrow its focus in order to provide its customer with the best possible collision repair service.
Growth
In 1990, Glaser's took the leap and built a shop, in Jeffersontown, better suited for the growing collision repair business. The Jeffersontown shop serves as the headquarters for Glaser's and is the largest shop.
In 1999, a second location in the heart of Louisville was opened on Preston Hwy. Then in 2008, with a lack of quality-oriented shops in the area, several insurance companies motivated Glaser's to start its third location in Shepherdsville.
