Dana "Green Man" Venrick, President,

Dana "Green Man" Venrick received a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from the University of Florida with a major in Biology. He received a Master of Science degree from the University of Florida College of Agriculture with a major in Botany and minors in Chemistry, Fruit crops and Community College Education. His thesis demonstrated the active mechanism of potassium uptake by corn roots. He was awarded a Post Baccalaureate from University of Florida in Agricultural Education. Dana has taught high school vocational agriculture, worked for the Florida Department of Agriculture as a Plant Pathologist and environmental Specialist, managed a 3,000 acre farm, owned and ornamental plant nursery and, for the past 10 years, was the Horticultural Extension Agent and Pesticide Applicator Trainer for the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences in Volusia County Allen Day, Vice President, Quality Green Specialists, Inc.

Allen Day is a Florida native who has spent most of his life either farming or "back yard gardening". Allen lives in DeLand, central Florida and has spent years developing and selecting vegetable varieties suitable for Florida's warm climate. Allen has extensive experience in raised bed gardens, and has designed and installed many beautiful and highly productive gardens.
