Harper Avenue Animal Hospital

Thank You! Your rating has been saved.

Harper Avenue Animal Hospital was founded by Dr. Fred Meier about 60 years ago. After Dr. Meier retired, Dr. M. P. L'Heureux took over the practice. Dr. S. A. Samad joined Dr. L'Heureux in 1976 and worked with him. When Dr. L'Heureux retired in 1984, Dr. Samad took over this practice. As the clinic's name suggests, the hospital is equipped to treat a variety of animals. Dr. Syed Samad, D.V.M., the hospital's medical director has a great love for dogs, cats and other pets. He is board certified as a specialist in dog and cat medicine and surgery.

Dr. Samad specializes in dogs and cats, but also a collection of other pets.

Harper Avenue Animal Hospital is a full service, modern veterinary hospital. Assisting the veterinarians is a well-trained support staff comprised of receptionists, technicians and kennel assistants.

Common species that the hospital treats include:

  • dogs (of all sizes, shapes, colors and breeds)
  • cats (including pets, breeders and special cats)
