HBS Contractors Inc.

Founded in 1954, HBS Contractors, Inc. began its construction business under the name, Home Builders Service Corporation. The company started out in the residential market and quickly became one of the area's leading home builders in custom and speculated homes.

In 1973, the company redirected its focus to the commercial, institutional and industrial markets while constructing schools, offices, retail, churches, medical facilities and local industrial projects. Eventually the company phased out of the residential market and; therefore, changed the company name to HBS Contractors, Inc.

HBS Contractors, Inc. constructs new, renovations, upfits and maintenance projects bidding in the public & private sector as well as negotiated projects from design concept through final completion and owner occupancy.

HBS Contractors, Inc. holds an Unlimited/Unclassified license in the states of North Carolina and South Carolina. Over the years, the company has focused on the target market of primarily the Southeastern Coastal and Sandhill regions of North Carolina and neighboring South Carolina counties. Projects have been completed from the mountains of western North Carolina to the Atlantic Ocean and from the northern most counties of North Carolina to the neighboring counties of South Carolina.
