Dr. James E. Sorge was raised in Cache Valley in northern Utah. He graduated from Brigham Young University and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with honors from Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon, in 1998. After completing his education, he moved with his family to Fallbrook, located in the San Diego North County area. Dr. Sorge practiced dentistry for 23 years in the ‘Avocado Capital’ of the world before relocating to San Clemente in Orange County. Dr. Sorge is a professional dentist who offers general and family dental care services. He has also expanded his expertise by exploring advancements in implantology (dental implants), cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics (braces), TMJ disorders, and dental sleep medicine. Dr. Sorge has delivered lectures on these topics at various medical and dental organizations. He has also actively participated in humanitarian projects, from Oregon to California and even to the islands of the South Pacific. He has received the San Diego Reader’s People Choice “Best of the Best” award and San Diego’s “Top Dentist” award for 14 consecutive years (2007-2021). Dr. Sorge is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Sorge and his wife, Katherine, are proud parents of four children and two grandchildren. They love spending time with their loved ones, trying new cuisines, playing golf, hiking, and snorkeling. You can find Dr. Sorge engrossed in a good book or challenging puzzle during his free time.
