Of course, it's our clients - not ourselves - who offer the things that make the world a better place. They help people improve their health, either physically or financially. They give people ways to share fun experiences or learn new things. They make life easier. They keep the lights on and protect the environment.
So what's our role in this? We do our homework to gain an intimate knowledge of our audiences. Then we find ways to make emotional connections between what people want and what our clients have to offer.
We look for the best opportunities to gain attention and make an impact. Maybe it's a print ad or a movie slide. Maybe it's a mashed-potato-sculpting contest. Maybe it's a big sign out on the highway. Or a message on the front of a Segway or the side of a subway. It's wherever we need to be to connect with people in interesting, unexpected ways that surprise, entertain and inform. Some people call this 360-degree marketing.
