LANDIS CONSTRUCTION CO., LLC

In 1956, Fred Landis founded Landis Construction. At the age of fourteen, Jim Landis began learning his father's trade as he worked digging ditches and carrying lumber. Following the death of Fred Landis in 1976, his widow Evelyn Landis preserved the family leadership of the company by becoming Chairman of the Board and in 1980, young Jim Landis took over as President.

Having overcome many challenges, Landis Construction has now become Landis Construction Co., LLC and an $80 million company with over 90 full-time employees, and an impressive resume of completed projects including the Harrah's New Orleans Casino, various Xavier University buildings, and many school and healthcare projects.

Since its founding, Landis has expanded its ability to deliver quality buildings not only through construction itself but also by utilizing construction management and design-build concepts. Landis takes pride in delivering projects at a standard that exceeds the expectations of our clients.

Many of Landis' current leaders began their careers under the guidance of Fred Landis. Together they emulate the integrity and values of the culture created by the company's founder and family.
