Learning Tree Development Center
Learning Tree Development Center is licensed through the State of Minnesota to provide care for children ages 6 weeks - 12 years. The center provides full time, full day and hourly care. Priority is given first to students of Normandale, then to faculty and staff, and finally the community. You do not have to be a student of Normandale to use our services.
Learning Tree provides a structured program within a play-based setting designed to meet the children's developmental needs. Children express their ideas and feelings through a well-rounded, developmentally appropriate curriculum which includes activities in art, music, language, math, science, writing, large motor, etc... A balance of active, quiet, individual and group activities assist the child's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
The center is staff by teachers who meet or exceed Minnesota Department of Licensing standards, Work Study students, and Parent Volunteers.
