Welcome to Lower Extremity Review or LER as we call it. This long awaited magazine fills the lower extremity information gap for practitioners in the fields of Podiatry, Physical Therapy, O&P Pedorthics, and Orthopedics. With over 20 years experience in multi-disciplinary editorial development and publishing, the collaboration of this incredible team has made this publication possible. We will bridge the gap between manufacturers and practitioners through an integrated initiative that includes:

Practical analysis of the relevant medical literature

Evidence based device utilization and other treatment techniques

Cutting-edge clinical and industry news

Coding tips and more useful business advice

Our website offers complete articles and references, additional product and educational videos, blog posts, comments, updates, tip and tricks and more.

LER is brought to you by the same team that brought you BioMechanics magazine. When CMP Medica abruptly shut down BioMechanics in February 2009, a void was immediately created. Our research showed that there was a need for a multi-disciplinary publication focused and targeted on the lower extremity. Healthcare reform and the continuum of care has opened the door for the delivery of accurate, practical and relevant information for the various specialists involved in treating the lower extremity. Podiatrists, physical therapists, orthopedic surgeons, orthotists, prosthetists, and pedorthists are all connected in this process, and LER bridges the information gap between the various specialists as well as between practitioners and manufacturers of products used to treat lower extremity injuries.

With the ever changing healthcare delivery system and shifts in reimbursement, it is even more important to find ways to run your practice more efficiently and improve outcomes for your patients. LER focuses on outcomes and practical applications. With monthly coverage of trauma, diabetes, sports medicine, biomechanics, and rehabilitation, you can be sure that the information is relevant for your daily practice. Our editorial board of advisors is second to none.
