William D. Lohrey, CPA is partner in Lohrey & Associates, which was selected by the National Publication "CPA News" as one of the top 50 CPA firms in the United States. Bill holds a degree in accounting from Oklahoma State University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas. His professional expertise covers a wide range including manufacturing, oil and gas, and taxexempt organizations. He is a member of AICPA and OSCPA, and is a Certified Financial Planner.

ETHICS: Bill Lohrey has worked throughout his career to strengthen ethics in the field of accounting. He has served on the AICPA National Executive Committee on Ethics & Behavior, as the first chairman of the Oklahoma Board of Accountancy Sub-Committee on Ethics Investigation, and as chairman of the OSCPA's Ethics Committee. Reflecting Bill's commitment to ethics, the Accounting Department at Oklahoma State University selected Lohrey as "2002 Distinguished Accounting Alumnus."

SMALL BUSINESS ADVOCACY Under Bill's guidance, Lohrey & Associates was recognized by Oklahoma Governor David Walters as the 1994 Small Business Financial Advocate of the year and was selected by Small Business Administration as regional 1994 Small Business Advocate of the year for the Southwestern United States. Bill was elected as a delegate to the 1995 White House Conference on Small Business, and in 1996, he was selected by the Governor for the small business task force to construct favorable legislation. In 1997, Bill co-authored a program for emerging small manufacturers' tax benefits education. Bill is currently co- chairman of Governors Committee to review all Economic Incentive Programs.
