She earned her Bachelor's degree in Professional Health Studies and a Master's of Science in Oriental Medicine from Florida College of Integrative Medicine. This is coupled with the fact that acupuncture and Chinese Medicine were a part of her daily life, growing up. Acupuncture is a natural alternative to today's common prescribed medicines. It can be used to treat a number of ailments and has been around for thousands of years. The World Health Organization, the United States' National Institutes of Health and the United States Air Force have come to a consensus that acupuncture is an effective treatment for a number of ailments.
