Earlier in residency, Dr. Donath had the unique opportunity to attend a master's course in rhinoplasty (nose reshaping), at which he learned from some of the best rhinoplasty surgeons in the world. Dr. Donath was stimulated by the challenging nature of this most unforgiving area of the face, and the fact that nose reshaping surgery is widely recognized as the most difficult procedure in all of plastic surgery. It was this interest that led him to seek out the best possible fellowship training in rhinoplasty. This, in turn, led to the honor of being selected from among his peers for a highly competitive fellowship in facial plastic surgery with the Glasgold Group. Dr. Donath graduated summa cum laude (highest honors) from Ohio University, where he was a scholarship recipient and was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa national honor society. He then completed medical school at the University of Cincinnati, widely recognized as one of the top medical centers in the country, where he was President of the school's American Medical Student Association chapter, Secretary of the Surgery club, and where he was selected from among his peers for a Research Scholars grant.
