The Mobile Attic is the original portable storage company in the West Georgia/East Alabama area. The business was started in 2005 by Frank and Monte Monroe, father and son. Today, The Mobile Attic is owned and managed by Shannon Monroe, Monte's wife. Our goal is to provide the best quality, clean portable storage "attics" at competitive prices while always focusing on excellent customer service. Monte and Shannon Monroe have lived in the West Georgia/East Alabama area the majority of their lives and presently reside in Waverly Hall, GA. Monte is an Auburn University graduate and Shannon is a die-hard Georgia Bulldog fan. Shannon has two daughters who are both registered nurses and work in local hospitals in the area. Monte has a daughter who works for the National Park Service in Hot Springs, AR and is a teacher. Monte's son recently completed his Airframe and Power Plant certification in Tulsa, OK and prior to that served five years in the US Marine Corp. He is working in aircraft maintenance in St Louis, MO area. In their free time, Monte and Shannon enjoy travel and specifically visiting National and State Parks.
The Mobile Attic portable storage containers are designed to be both highly weatherproof and pleasing to the eye. They feature a slightly arched aluminum skin roof that reflects the heat of the sun, as well as preventing water and snow from accumulating. Side panels consist of aluminum sheet and post with plastic inserts to insulate the interior and protect the contents from the elements. Additionally, the aluminum track floor is held in place by a steel under-frame, allowing up to 8000 pounds to be stored without any danger of collapse. To further ensure the safety of your items, some models come with a steel tracking system as well as other optional features including cam-buckle straps, moving boxes, moving blankets, and padlocks.
