John B. Mostellar, CPA

• Founding partner of Mostellar & Shreve, LLP in 1983
• Forty two years of experience in public accounting working for a national accounting firm and as a partner in local accounting firms
• Primary areas of service in public accounting were auditing and tax work including income tax, estate tax and gift tax
• Industry experience includes contracting, retail, wholesale, manufacturing and real estate
• Bachelor of Science in Economics - Rhodes College, 1957
• Member of the American Institute of CPAs
• Member of the Alabama Society of CPAs
• Member of the Mobile Chapter of CPAs
• Member of the Estate Planning Council of Mobile
• Enjoys spending time outdoors while golfing, hunting and fishing

Lewis T. Shreve, CPA

• Founding partner of Mostellar & Shreve, LLP
• Over twenty six years of experience in public accounting, starting in 1984 with a local public accounting firm before joining in 1986 our predecessor firm, John B. Mostellar, CPA
• Before entering public accounting, worked for a saving and loan financial institution as assistant controller for over three years, then as controller for a manufacturing company for almost two years
• Work experience includes: accounting services (including auditing, review, and compilations); income tax preparation for corporations, partnerships, fiduciaries and individuals; estate and gift tax planning and preparation
• Has worked with clients in many different industries, including, but not limited to, construction, retail, wholesale, manufacturing, timber, and not-for-profit organizations
• Bachelor of Science in Business Adminstration, Accounting - The University of South Alabama, 1979
