Dr. Michael Cash, M.D. is board certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.He was raised in Indiana, and after completing a Masters degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Evansville, he attended medical school at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He completed general surgery residency at Vanderbilt University.Dr. Cash remained at Vanderbilt to complete his plastic surgery residency under the direction of R. Bruce Shack, M.D. On a professional level, Dr. Cash has had the opportunity to present multiple research projects at national plastic surgery meetings including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand during his time at Vanderbilt. Dr. Michael Cash, M.D. has lived in Nashville since 2005 and is the proud father of two beautiful daughters.
