New Vistas partners with and supports people with disabilities and families of children with special needs to enrich their quality of life in New Mexico.

Based in Santa Fe, our services focus on the nine New Mexico counties of: Rio Arriba, Taos, Colfax, Union, Mora, Harding, Los Alamos, Santa Fe and San Miguel.

Our programs include Disability Support & Advocacy, Early Childhood Development, and a production facility performing a variety of assembly jobs for two large corporations under contract with New Vistas.

Our Mission: New Vistas partners with and supports people with disabilities and families of children with special needs to enrich their quality of life in New Mexico.

We are a consumer-controlled, community-based, cross-disability, nonresidential private nonprofit agency based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, providing an array of independent living services for nine northern New Mexico Counties. 51% of staff are persons with disabilities; 51% of Board of Directors are persons with disabilities; and providing four core services of information and referral, independent living skills training, peer support and advocacy.

Over the course of New Vistas 40 years of existence, we have been a leader in the development and implementation of innovative and "state of the art" programs. We are committed to hiring people with disabilities and having people with disabilities serve on the Board of Directors and in management positions.
