I am the owner of Nutrition Works and I love what I do! Let me tell you why.

I have been in private practice for over 14 years now helping people eat better to feel better. It is a very unique and rewarding position to be in to be able to help others reclaim their lives. Helping to put the sparkle back into someone's eyes makes my day very special too.

And that's why I do what I do here at Nutrition Works. I could have chosen all sorts of food related jobs, but teaching and promoting wellness through food choices is my passion.

I started out teaching health education classes and working with individuals in an outpatient setting in Orange County, California in the mid 1990's. After getting married and moving back to Louisville, KY a few years later, I became the outpatient dietitian at Jewish Hospital. However, when I had children I went out on my own and created Nutrition Works. It is here that I have found what I really enjoy doing.

Whether it's helping someone lose weight and redefine themselves or helping someone uncover their food triggers so they can get back to living and enjoying life, I have found my ideal job.

My Philosophy

At Nutrition Works I teach people to eat better to stay healthy. You will get the expertise you need to get you where you want to go using real food. Everyone gets special attention because I recognize that no two people are alike. You make simple, yet lasting, changes and you feel better as a result. In the end, you turn back the clock and can exercise, socialize and be active in the hobbies and activities with friends and family that you may have been missing out on.
