Together we develop treatment plans that consider your unique needs, symptoms, and circumstances. Your treatment plan outlines specific personal goals and clinical outcomes, which are regularly assessed using measurement-based care tools. If you are located in or near Berkeley CA, contact Dr. Yaqubi for quality mental health care.

Our approaches to patient care is holistic and comprehensive, factoring in biological, psychological, and social elements when devising treatment plans. We emphasize the significance of understanding our patients' emotional distress to establish strong relationships. Our primary focus remains on empathetically connecting with patients' emotional anguish and alleviating their distress.

In treating depression and anxiety, we employ medication and psychotherapy as fundamental strategies to alleviate suffering. However, we acknowledge that not all patients respond completely to these conventional approaches. We view interventional methods as an additional non-invasive therapeutic technique, especially beneficial for individuals grappling with mood or anxiety disorders that are resistant to traditional treatments.

Treatment begins with a 60-minute initial assessment followed by 30-minute sessions as needed thereafter. This time will be spent evaluating your physical and mental health to provide medication to alleviate mental health symptoms.

TMS is a non-invasive, pain-free, FDA cleared treatment tool for patients with Treatment Resistant Depression, Anxiety, OCD and Neuropathic Pain. TMS works based on electromagnetic stimulation of the part of the brain( prefrontal cortex) which is dysregulated in conditions e.g. depression, anxiety and OCD. Studies have shown significant clinical improvement in mood and anxiety symptoms in those patients who failed several medical trials- PMID :34711062
