Pearle Accounting Service
The Company began in 1945 in Pearl Linder's kitchen as Pearle Office Service. She outgrew her kitchen office and moved to the concrete block utility building behind her home. When she outgrew that location she converted a small house on the back of her property into her office. She added a small metal building behind that office for a copy room. She moved the office to Holly Hill Plaza suite F in 1993. She celebrated her 50th year of service in 1995. On July 1, 1995 Lewis K. (Kenny) Parrish purchased the company. Kevin W. Parrish joined the company full-time January 1, 1996. The company name was changed to Pearle Accounting Service from Pearle Office Service during 1996. After one year in suite F of Holly Hill Plaza, the office moved to suite G to accommodate the growing company. Suite G was twice the size of suite F. In November of 1998 the office moved to 2326 Wrightsboro Road. In May of 2003 the office moved next door to 2330 Wrightsboro Road. The ownership changed to Kevin W. Parrish on January 1, 2009 at which time he formed a CPA firm.
Kevin W. Parrish, CPA, EA
Kevin W. Parrish, CPA, EA, has been a Certified Public Accountant since April 2008 and an Enrolled Agent since May 2003. He has been in public accounting since January 1996 and is dedicated to helping clients make intelligent financial decisions and ethically minimize tax liability. His patience and determination ensure that every client is treated with high regard.
Mr. Parrish earned a Bachelors of Business Administration (1989) and a Masters of Business Administration (1994) from Augusta State University. After completing his Bachelors degree, Mr. Parrish worked in governmental auditing and accounting for six years. He then moved to public accounting where he went on to become a Certified Public Accountant. He is a Member of the Institute of Management Accountants, Member of the Georgia Association of Accountants & Tax Professionals, and is a Member of the National Association of Tax Professionals.
In his spare time, Kevin enjoys boating, biking, and spending time with his children Frasier, Jordan, and Savannah.
Mr. Parrish is also an active Member of Abilene Baptist Church and The Gideons International.
