Our Customers
We serve customers in the Longview/Marshall area, as far south as Henderson and Carthage, west to Tyler, north to Daingerfield, Hughes Springs, and Jefferson, and east to the Louisiana state line. We work with home-owners, local designers, commercial businesses, remodeling contractors, and insurance companies.
We feel that a satisfied customer is our best advertisement!
Our Staff
At Phillips Flooring Center, we prefer the "team" concept, which eliminates commission sales. All employees cooperate and work together, resulting in an unmatched level of customer satisfaction.Our target customer is one who appreciates the "over-and-above" service that we provide on each and every job.
Rodney Phillips is the owner of Phillips Flooring Center. He started his career in construction over 30 years ago and has knowledge of all facets of the building industry. Rodney holds an Associate's Degree in Building Construction from Texas State Technical Institute, and a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Sam Houston State University. He is uniquely suited to the flooring sales and installation business, having worked in the industry on manufacturing, distributor, installation, and retail sales levels.Mike Maloy is the newest addition to our sales staff, joining Phillips Flooring Center in May 2011.
Until that time, Mike was a highly-sought-after ceramic, stone, and travertine installer, with over 15 years experience, and an impressive portfolio of beautifully completed tile jobs. After moving to Longview, his work earned him the esteem of local builders and homeowners, which brought him to attention of the staff at Phillips Flooring Center. Mike brings a wealth of knowledge regarding all flooring products, and has a first-hand insight into even the trickiest installation issues. Sheryl Phillips provides telephone support and customer service to callers, while handling the general office duties at Phillips Flooring Center. These include accounts payable, billing questions, advertising, and marketing. Sheryl has a Bachelor's Degree from Baylor University, and an employment background in banking and finance.
