With over 25 years of legal experience, criminal defense attorney Craig Orent is a well-known name in the legal community. Graduating from Roger Williams University in Rhode Island, Craig Orent received a B.S. in Administration of Justice and Political Science, Magna Cum Laude. While there, he was awarded top honors in Administration of Justice by the school faculty. Orent then moved out west to attend the University of San Diego School of Law and graduated with various honors in 1987.

Craig Orent began his career prosecuting criminal cases for the Riverside County District Attorney's office. He took on a few other career opportunities both in California and Massachusetts before deciding to settle in Arizona. Upon arrival, Orent became an assistant legal defender at the Maricopa County Legal Defender's Office, primary working on complex felony cases. Some of the high profile cases he was involved in include: State v. Dickinson et.al, State v. Jackson, State v. Lindsey, and many others. He then moved to the Federal Public Defender's Office and dealt with an assortment of federal crimes.

Now as a dedicated criminal defense lawyer in private practice, Orent is passionate and determined with each new case presented. He is involved in a variety of community associations like the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice.
