How long will it take to get started?

Every job has its own unique blends of complexity and preparation necessary for success. Permitted jobs will always take longer than non permitted jobs, not just on the front end but during the inspection phase. Before we enter into a binding contract on any job, we build out a preliminary Gantt Chart that provides our best estimate on time frame.

Is there a time of year not to start a home addition/ exterior renovation project?

Not necessarily, weather does not cause an issue outside of concrete or site work. If the ground is frozen or pipes are so cold, that can be an issue. Other factors such as freezing temperatures and heavy rain can extend the timeline as paint requires specific conditions. Don't worry though, we work around the weather forecast to ensure we work efficiently and plan accordingly.

Does my job need a permit?

There are Federal, State, County, and City regulations that vary depending on where your property is located. Permits are pulled at a City or County level. A good rule of thumb is that if electrical, plumbing, or structural components are being modified, you will likely need a permit. The good news is that we will handle the entire process.
