Quimby & Collins Orthodontics
Dr. Meredith Quimby and Dr. Kelly Collins met at The Ohio State University Orthodontic Program. Their friendship grew out of their shared passion for academic and athletic excellence. Their vision for a family friendly practice encompassing the values they learned on the playing field and in the classroom began on the Scarlet and Grey golf course, where they would occasionally play golf together.(Sometimes even letting their spouses join in!) In 2002, their desire to leave Ohio's cold winters behind led them to the charm of Charlotte where they have been enjoying their patients, practice and warmer weather ever since.
A key component of Dr. Quimby and Dr. Collins' partnership is their ability to share orthodontic ideas and design treatment plans together. This collaboration benefits Quimby and Collins patients as the doctors continue to challenge one another with new ideas, perspectives and approaches resulting in optimal orthodontic results.
At OSU, the doctors received additional training in the treatment of Cleft Lip/Palate and Craniofacial Syndromes. They utilize this training to volunteer their time at CMC with a medical team designing and discussing treatment for patients. Dr. Quimby and Dr. Collins are active in their community and believe in sponsoring patients' scholastic and athletic endeavors. Additionally, the doctors and their staff educate Charlotte area children through school programs during National Children's Dental Health Month.
Drs. Quimby and Collins are Diplomats of the Board of Orthodontics, attend continuing education seminars year round and hold multiple professional memberships.
