He was very active in music, playing trombone, piano, and was an organist for a few churches. The family moved to Oklahoma in 1966 and his education continued. He received his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Oklahoma in 1970 and D.D.S. from Baylor College of Dentistry Dallas, TX in January 1974.
