Rule of Thirds

Thank You! Your rating has been saved.

From Sunday Hospitality comes Rule of Thirds, a Japanese restaurant in collaboration with friends and neighbors, George Padilla and JT Vuong (both formerly of Okonomi) located at the former A/D/O by MINI in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Japanese home cooking styles and izakaya culture are transported to Brooklyn via local ingredients and neighborhood inspiration, guided by the concept of Mottainai. Quick bites, seasonal binchotan-grilled items and an extensive sake list (including hard to find namazake) are available for happy hour or the start of a leisurely meal. A wide variety of small and large menu items round out a diverse menu of Brooklyn-inspired Japanese menu items perfect for sharing.

Rule of Thirds' event spaces are versatile and chic, featuring industrial notes with exposed brick, concrete floors and beautiful light-filled rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows. It hosts a vast array of events; such as weddings, corporate dinners, conferences, product launches and brand activations, to name a few.

With three indoor private dining rooms, an expansive event space with its own private entrance/exit, and an outdoor courtyard that can be converted to allow for private gatherings, Rule of Thirds can host events ranging from 8 to 450 people.
