In 1995, James Schaffner, Charles Knight and Matt Minnaugh founded Schaffner, Knight, Minnaugh & Company, P.C. The principals joined forces due to their mutual, professional respect for one another and a common philosophy of excellent client service.
In 2006, the firm proudly named Dennis Grow as the fourth principal to the firm. In 2009, the firm admitted Janel Bonsell, Pete Eaglen, and Dan Sloppy as principals. On January 1, 2010, Dave Herbe, was admitted as the eighth firm principal, and on January 1, 2012, Chris Smith, was admitted as the ninth firm principal.
