Schepps Dairy

Thank You! Your rating has been saved.

With only a single truck and one filling machine, Mr. Harmon Schepps founded Schepps Dairy in 1942. Over 60 years later, Schepps Dairy has grown from those modest beginnings to one of the largest plants in the country, producing over 6 million gallons of milk per month.

Today, Schepps Dairy employs over 1,000 people in Dallas and Houston and serves over 1,500 convenience stores, 400 supermarkets and 6,000 food and hospitality related businesses in Texas. Schepps also operates a fleet of over 1,000 vehicles with distribution points and ties to other dairies across the United States.

Our physical dairy plants are considered state of the art featuring a full-time Quality Control Lab with around-the-clock Quality Assurance Teams dedicated to providing a perfect product from the farm to your fridge.

In addition to delivering the freshest dairy products, Schepps is also committed to bringing more to our local community. From local sponsorships to charitable work with organizations such as the North Texas Food Bank and the End Hunger Network, Schepps has been a partner to the cities and neighborhoods we call home.

Schepps actively supports local law enforcement agencies by offering rewards for information leading to the arrest and indictment of suspects wanted in a range of cases across Texas. This program was originated by Harmon Schepps in 1973 after a Schepps employee was a victim of a senseless crime. To date, Schepps has offered over $1.5 million in rewards to people who have helped solve crimes. For more information, contact your local police department.

Schepps General Manager Steve Schenkel recently received the prestigious Community Builder Award from the Sam P. Cochran
