Shopthelowcountry.com has been active with SC Ocean Conservation Groups and the CHS Island Turtle Team since 2015. We're on the beach at dawn from May to September, looking for new turtle tracks, then attempting to find a nest and keep an eye on until 75 days later when the turtles' hatch. Our eyes remain open to this "ocean ambassador's plight in traveling land and oceans throughout the world. The Charleston Aquarium's Rescue-Rehabilitate-Release Program's Team is on hand to assist when a turtle is discovered injured.
