Leticia worked with her architect, designer, builder, and graphic designer to create a facility that was comfortable for guests and employees alike. This small yet functional environment, developed to feel like home to guests, allows them the ability to experience the highest level of service in massage, facial aesthetics, waxing, nail care and, a full assortment of services for hair, from color to straightening and from updos to blowouts.

About five years ago, while still a practicing BSN-MSN in an oncology clinic and in several hospitals over the years, Leticia Ramirez Norman wondered what was next after she retired from her over forty-year career. She had dreamed of opening her own day spa for quite a while; one that could not only nurture guests during difficult times in their lives, such as during cancer treatments, but also other guests who needed to decompress, relax or refresh. She knew that she could create an environment in which her guests felt nurtured and welcome. About three years ago she began the process of researching the spa industry; then Covid 19 hit, delaying the process for about eighteen months. She persevered.

Leticia has four adult daughters, all with professional careers, a supportive husband and, several grandchildren. The name "Gemelli" came to mind in large part due to one of her daughter's twins, whom she often cares for during the week. "Gemelli" means "Twin" in Italian. It is also depictive of her "twin" careers, one in healthcare and her new venture, in mind and body wellness allowing her to bring her vision of beauty and wellness to guests in El Paso.
