SL Associates

SL Associates is Steve and Sharon Layman, husband and wife , married since 1981. Together, we have a combined bookkeeping experience of over 50 years. Our qualification comes from actual job experience from our past and current employment.

Steve Layman has been employed as a Youth Pastor/Church & Daycare Administrator/Bookkeeper. He was the Accounting Manager and Human Resource Manager with Cheshire Rio Realty and Property Management and with Spacious Living Construction. He was employed with the University of California at Santa Cruz in the Humanities Business Office and iwa the Accounting Manager with The Skylight Place for 11 years.

Steve is also a Notary Public and a Licensed Real Estate Agent with Beccaria & Weber, working primarily in Property Management & Bookkeeping.

Sharon Layman was employed in the Daycare, Preschool and After School Care field as a Center Director for many years. She oversaw enrollment, staffing, curriculum and bookkeeping. Sharon operated her own Home Daycare Center for several years as well. She was employed as Children's Ministry Director, Bookkeeper and Church Administrator with Lighthouse Christian Fellowship for 15 years.

Sharon is currently the Administrative Assistant to the C.E.O. and Corporate Bookkeeper at Beccaria & Weber. Sharon and Steve Layman also serve as Court Appointed Trustee's as well.
