Snyder & Associates was founded May 1990 to provide accounting, financial and consulting services to small and medium size companies. The Company's mission is to provide services to it's clients beyond those of a typical public accounting firm. We strive to use the traditional historical data to educate our clientele about what makes their company successful. We use this information to help make decisions for their future. Our clients may use us as part of their management team, an effective and efficient means of adding experience and expertise to their team without the risks. Rusty S. Snyder, CPA
Rusty has been a resident of the Grand Rapids area since 1985. He graduated from Michigan State University ( Go Green) in 1981 and worked for a certified public accounting firm in Coldwater, Michigan from 1981-1985. In 1985, he relocated to the Grand Rapids area with a firm that eventually merged with Plante Moran. He stayed with them until 1989 when he decided to form his own firm. His focus has been, but not limited to, controllership, construction and small business tax and consulting. He is a member of the AICPA, MACPA, Exchange Club, Economics Club, Elks Lodge, Associated Builders & Contractors Association, Construction Financial Management Association, Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Coopersville Chamber of Commerce. He resides in the Coopersville area with his wife and two children. They enjoy sports, horses, fishing and, of course, MSU.
